Dr Marcus qualified MB CHB in Liverpool 1979 became senior lecturer anatomy in 1981. Awarded MD in 1985 experimental pathology on inflammatory bowel disease. Trained in radiology in Kings College Hospital and St Bartholomew Hospital in 1987. Awarded Kodak Travelling Scholarship and Nycomed Scholarship in 1987, assistant professor radiology Penn State Hospital 1988-9 and fellow in radiology UCSD in 1989. Consultant Radiologist RFH NHS foundation Trust since 1990 interest in body imaging and intervention in particular gastrointestinal and urology .
